When you send the form on the report page, we receive the type, title and description you enter, and your email address if you choose to give one. The email is only used to follow up on your report.

Reports are stored in our issue tracker, a service we run on Vercel. They may be read and triaged with the help of AI tools, so please don’t include passwords or other secrets.

To stop abuse, your IP address is used to limit how many reports can be sent in a short time. It is kept in memory only while the limit applies and is not stored with your report.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, time and page) for operating and securing the service, under Vercel’s privacy policy.

Reports are kept while they’re useful for the project. To have a report or your email removed, send a request through the report page with a way to identify it (for example its title), and we’ll delete it.

The operating system doesn’t send us anything. The services it contacts (software updates, the app store, the weather, and location only if you turn it on) and how to turn each off are listed in ParchaOS’s legal and privacy notice, which is also installed on every system at /usr/share/doc/parchaos/LEGAL.md.
